Bio
Prior to joining Canada ICI, Tyler held senior roles at lending and private equity firms. With over a decade of experience, he has been involved in more than $1.0 billion in transaction volume, across all asset types.
Tyler brings a deep knowledge base and creative eye to each deal, to provide his clients with tailored capital solutions. Working with prominent developers, investors and owners, Tyler’s philosophy is to engage collaboratively to facilitate advantageous lending options to meet the various, unique needs of his clients.
I like working in commercial real estate finance because we play an integral part in the physical construction of cities and towns throughout the country. Through our hard work, we help facilitate the creation/maintenance of places where communities live, work and play.
If you ask about me, my colleagues would say I take personal ownership over each and every deal and am the biggest advocate throughout each respective funding process. It is key to have a “deal champion” in each transaction.
I am motivated by the opportunity to have a tangible, positive effect on my clients’ real estate businesses. It is incredibly rewarding when my success is their success, and vice versa.
I am working towards positive incremental change on a daily basis. By striving to improve each day, I am better able to serve my teammates and clients.
The best part of my day is lying down with my kids and chatting about our days before they go to sleep.
