Bio
Cody joined Canada ICI in the summer of 2024 after graduating with distinction from the University of Alberta, while also receiving his Certificate in Real Estate. During his time in school, he became involved with the University of Alberta Real Estate Club (UARC), where he served as Club President and later as an Advisor. Cody also represented the Club as the Student Representative for the BOMA Emerging Leaders Committee and volunteered as a University Mentor with the REET Institute.
Cody’s experiences and exposure to the industry through UARC, combined with his real estate coursework, solidified his passion for commercial real estate. He capped off his university career by participating in the annual NAIOP Development Challenge, helping the University secure a second consecutive victory. Before graduating, Cody gained practical experience during an 8-month co-op position at KPMG and nearly 2 years at Altus Group, working with the U.S. Portfolio and Edmonton Valuation Advisory Teams.
Cody looks forward to building upon his knowledge and skills while making a positive contribution to the team at Canada ICI.
I joined CICI because I have a passion for commercial real estate and it was the perfect company to learn from and grow with as a recent graduate.
I believe the keys to success are work ethic, discipline, always showing up, and striving to improve.
What I find fascinating is how large and multi-faceted the real estate industry is, with so many moving parts and unseen details that all come together to create a small, but well-connected community.
I am looking forward to helping the team while learning as much as I can along the way, as well as making a positive impact on our clients through my work.
