Neel Dixit

Bio

Neel graduated from the Alberta School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Economics and Law in November of 2022. In March 2023, Neel joined CBRE’s Valuation & Advisory Services (VAS) Western Canada group as a Valuation Associate based out of Calgary, Alberta. Neel had garnered extensive experience within the appraisal process of numerous commercial real estate assets for a wide variety of clients from institutional lenders, mid-scale, private equity, pension funds, etc. across the prairie region. Neel’s work as an associate within CBRE’s Valuation & Advisory Services group primarily involved supporting senior appraisers with real estate valuations, investment and financial analysis, market research, and real estate consultation services.

Neel’s exposure to the industry through his experience at CBRE, along with this time spent at the Alberta School of Business, has solidified his passion for commercial real estate and finance. Neel looks forward to building a solid underwriting skill set and foundational career in commercial mortgage financing while making a positive impact on his team at Canada ICI and clientele.

I like working in commercial real estate finance because it is a multi-faceted discipline that allows me to have a meaningful impact on the commercial real estate industry and the broader community.

I am motivated by new challenges and opportunities to grow and develop my skill sets.

I am working towards strengthening my underwriting skills and learning as much as I can about the commercial mortgage brokerage business.
